This page describes how Greenhouse Therapies ("we," "us," "our," or "the Practice") collects, uses, and protects your information, including through SMS/text messaging communications, and sets out the terms governing your use of our services and communications.

We may collect the following information when you contact us, schedule an appointment, or complete an intake form:

• Name and contact information (phone number, email address, mailing address)
• Appointment scheduling and attendance information
• Billing and insurance information, where applicable
• Information you voluntarily provide through forms, calls, or messages

3. SMS / Text Messaging Program

3.1 Consent and Opt-In

By providing your mobile phone number to Greenhouse Therapies and checking the SMS consent box on our intake form, website, or client portal, you agree to receive text messages from us related to appointment reminders, scheduling confirmations, and general practice updates. Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchasing any services.

3.2 Message Frequency

Message frequency varies depending on the frequency of appointments, typically 1 reminder message per scheduled appointment.   You choose whether you would like to receive these reminder messages as part of our intake/registration process. 

3.3 Costs

Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Greenhouse Therapies does not charge for text messages, but your carrier's standard messaging and data rates apply.

3.4 How to Opt Out

You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. After you opt out, we will send a one-time confirmation message and you will no longer receive texts from us unless you opt back in.

3.6 Carriers

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported carriers include, but are not limited to, AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, and other major U.S. wireless carriers.

3.7 No Sharing of Mobile Opt-In Data

No mobile information collected as part of the SMS consent process will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories of information may be shared as described in Section 5, subject to applicable laws.

3.8 Not for Protected Health Information

Because standard SMS is not a secure or encrypted communication channel, we do not use text messaging to transmit protected health information (PHI), clinical details, or treatment content. Text messages from us are limited to appointment logistics and general practice communications. Any discussion of your or your child's care will take place through a secure channel, by phone, or in person.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Schedule, confirm, and remind you of appointments
• Communicate with you about your care and our services
• Process billing and insurance claims, where applicable
• Improve our services and comply with legal and regulatory requirements

5. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

• Service providers who help us operate the practice (e.g., scheduling software, billing services), under confidentiality obligations
• Insurance providers, when necessary to process claims
• Legal or regulatory authorities, when required by law

As noted above, mobile opt-in information for SMS is never shared with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

8.1 Acceptance

By using our services, website, or communication channels, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

8.2 Scope of Services

Greenhouse Therapies provides speech-language therapy services. Nothing communicated via text message, email, or our website constitutes a medical diagnosis or substitutes for an in-person clinical evaluation.

8.3 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Greenhouse Therapies is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our communications or services, including delayed or undelivered text messages.

8.4 Changes to These Terms

We may update this Privacy Policy and these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.

8.5 Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
