What ages do you work with?
Rachel works with children from birth to age 18. At this time, we do not provide speech therapy for adults: we have chosen to specialize in our unique areas of interests and expertise within pediatric speech therapy. (Our colleagues at NestEd do, though!).
How do I schedule an appointment?
For pediatric therapies, appointments can be scheduled via phone, email, or through our website's contact form.

We believe that the ultimate goal of speech therapy is to support the kind of communication skills that allow children to build strong and healthy relationships, both now and in the future. We are committed not only to developing speech and language skills, but fostering social-emotional growth and building resilience and joy. In empowering children to recognize and process their emotions and experience healthy, meaningful connections, we know that the support of mental health providers can be essential. We are lucky to share space with NestEd and other mental health counselors who use shared play as a powerful means of supporting children's mental and emotional health.

Yes; Greenhouse is an in-network provider for Regence, Premera, Kaiser, First Choice Health, Tricare, Lifewise, and Cigna. Contact us to check the details for your specific plan.
What if you aren't in-network with my health insurance plan?
We offer cash pay rates for speech therapy and will work with you to make therapy affordable. Please contact us for more details.
How long have you been in Olympia?
In 2023, pediatric speech therapist and parent Rachel Wells launched her own practice - known at the time as Westbound Speech Therapy - with a clear vision for offering strengths-based, joy-filled speech-language therapy with a focus on developing relationship skills and creating meaningful change. Parents quickly recognized Rachel’s dedication to her work and the practice grew.
Recognizing that children's communication development is complex, interconnected, and that many individuals thrive when provided with support for sensory and motor-based needs and/or social-emotional support, Rachel dreamed of finding occupational therapist and play therapist colleagues. In the summer of 2024, the practice moved to a historic 1930s home-turned-office located just east of downtown Olympia, a physical space large enough for this vision to grow. In the spring of 2026, we moved into a shared space with NestEd Center for Development, just down the road on 4th Avenue.
